For thirty-five years (from 1931 to 1965) I have engaged in X-ray photographing, X-ray therapy and quantative measurement of X-ray in the following three manners : without any protector, with a shield as a protector, with perfect protection in a separate operator booth. During the period mentioned above, I measured the quantitity of hemoglobin, the number of erythrocyte and leucocyte in my blood, and observed my health condition. My conclusion is that X-ray injury can be to a considerable extent prevented by having an eager concern in protective apparatus.
