A CONTROL SYSTEM FOR KEEPING PHOTOS IN KOCHI MEDICAL SCHOOL (The Use of A Computer at the Department of Radiology)

Abstract

In order to put in order various kinds of information offered to the Department of Radiology, an overall control system for such information was built up. This system, which is on-line with the IMIS KOCHI (Integrated Medical Information System) of this school, receives information such as requests for examination, lending, etc., which are transfered from outside to this system and is also operable independently of the IMIS. This system aimes at carrying out efficient affaires of taking out photo-bags by treating requests for examination, lending, etc. as well as automatically controlling photo-keeping. This system is also able to take various statistics by receiving to treat accounting information inputted to the host computer.
