Langmuir probe measurements have been performed in order to evaluate the properties of the flow in the working section of a plasma jet windtunnel. A single plane Langmuir probe has been used for conditions when the probe-collecting surface is parallel to the flow and the diameter of it is of the same order as the meam free path of a neutral atom. Electron temperature and Plasma density are calculated from Langmuir probe chharacteristics. A typical electrorn temperature is 3×103°K and a typical plasma density is 1013 particles/cm3.
