On the time of flower bud differentiation in Enkianthus perulatus C. K. SCHNEID. and Serissa japonica THUNB

Abstract

1. The flower bud formation in Enkianthus perulatus occurres in the terminal bud on current shoot, and the time of flower bud differentiation in Tokyo was at the beginning of August in 1952.
2. In Serissa japonica, the flower bud appears in the terminal bud on lateral shoot, and the time of flower bull initiation in Yokohama was at the beginning of April in 1952 and at the end of March in 1953.
