The purpose of this research is to analyze what factors of outdoor and indoor places affect the adaptability of women's clothes to places. As to the method, this study used the 14 women's outfits and the factors attributed to outdoor (4 factors) and indoor (3 factors) places which were derived using factor analysis in the previous section of this report. Here we ultilize the factor score of the places, and the mean values of the outfits for each place which we calculated by the rating scale method. The correlation coefficient and the regression coefficient were also calculated for the factor score and mean values of the outfits to places, for the 56 possible outdoor cases and 42 possible indoor cases. In conclusion, for outdoor places, there is a high correlation with Factor 3, "Sense of Contemporaneity", and Factor 2, "Sense of Intimacy". Moreover, for indoor places, the correlation is largest with Factor 2, "Sense of Intimacy", but it and the other factors, Factor 1, "Sense of Harmony" and Factor 3, "Sense of Orderliness" are also found to be influential and mutually related. That is, it was found that for outdoor places, appropriateness of clothes is determined by a fairly simple consideration of 2 factors. On the other hand, it was found that, for indoor places, multiple factors are involved in the determination, making the decision about appropriateness or inappropriateness more clear-cut.
