In testing 588 donors' cell samples, we found 57 Bg (a+) samples (9.69%). By the use of the Bg (a+) cells thus obtained, 9 anti-Bga sera were detected among 102, 500 blood donations tested.
By the cytotoxicity tests with the Bg (a+) donors' lymphocytes, we demonstrated strongly positive associations between the antigen Bga and HLA-B7, and between anti-Bga and anti-HLA-B7.
A Japanese family was shown where the Bga was inherited together with HLA-B7 straitforwords.
