Experiments have been carried out to measure the thermal conductivity of epoxy resins filled with several types of fillers. Effects of volume fraction, shapes, orientation of fillers on thermal conductivity of the resins are discussed
Experimental data were compared with the results predicted by Maxwell, Fricke, Bruggeman and Jhonson equations. The shape of irregular particles are approximated to an ellipsoid. The predicted results by Bruggeman and Jhonson equations are in good agreement with the experimental data.
