We report a case of an external ear canal AIP secondary to otitis externa in a juvenile dog. A 3-month-old intact female Boston Terrier presented with purulent otorrhea and a lesion in the left external ear canal. After computed tomography, the lesion was removed under general anesthesia. A histopathological examination revealed a pedunculated fibrovascular proliferation covered by keratinized stratified squamous epithelium with inflammatory cell infiltration. The lesion was diagnosed as an aural inflammatory polyp (AIP). On day 7, otorrhea recurred, and treatment with oral minocycline and ear canal cleansing based on antimicrobial susceptibility testing led to improvement by day 21.
