Abstract

With some modifications of Max Margules' method, the present author intends to discuss the diurnal change of atmospheric pressure as surface waves induced by the local distribution of air temperature and proposed a new method to determine the “eddy diffusivity” using the observations of atmospheric pressure.
For an example, according to the observations at Mt. Tukubasan, the eddy diffusivity is evaluted as 1.4×105 C. G. S.
