After perforator flap surgery, functional disorders such as surgical invasion, contracture due to long-term immobilization, and muscle weakness occur. Furthermore, long-term restrictions in daily life due to functional impairment or risk management may cause a decline in the ability to perform tasks. A task-oriented approach was implemented in conjunction with training. As a result, in addition to functional improvement, improvements were also observed in task performance. These results suggest that using TOA in conjunction with functional training for patients after perforator flap surgery is effective not only in improving function but also in improving work performance.
