THE PURPOSE OF THIS PAPER IS TO CLARIFY THE EFFECTS OF LOCATION OF LARGE-SCALE SHOPPING CENTERS ON THE RANGE OF COMMERCIAL SPHERE,AND GROWTH RATE OF COMMERCIAL AND BUSINESS ACTIVITIES AROUND THEM. BY COMPARING FLOOR SPACES OF SHOPPING CENTERS WITH THE RANGE OF THE COMMERCIAL SPHERE IN TIME SERIES, WE REVEALED THE CORRELATION BETWEEN THEM. THROUGH THE ANALYSIS OF DATA ON THE LOCATIONAL CHANGES OF THE COMMERCIAL AND BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, WE FOUND OUT THAT THE RATE OF CHANGES IS DIFFERENT BY BUSINESS CLASSES AND THAT THE EFFECTS OF LOCATION OF SHOPPING CENTERS ARE LIMITED IN SPACE.
