Abstract

1) There is no parallel arrangement of nuclear threads in the early prophase.
2) After the second contraction, nucleolar buds are scarecely observable. They seem to supply substance for the chromosome formation.
3) Four ring chromosomes and eight dumb-bell ones are seen at diakinesis.
4) The haploid and diploid numbers of chromosomes are 12 and 24.
5) There are microsomal granules at the plane of the partition wall formation. They are of transient nature.
6) Tetrads are formed by the furrowing process instead of cell plates.
