1. In Stemonitis flavogenita JAHN the origin of the blepharoplast is in the nucleus which is observed at the time of germination of the spore (Figs. 1-3, 9-15).
2. While the two planocytes are conjugating, each blepharoplast is absorbed into its own nucleus (Figs. 4-8, 4'-6', 16-23).
3. Two kinds of conjugation of the planocytes are observed, namely: telo-conjugation and para-conjugation (Figs. 4-8, 4'-6', 16, 18).
4. Sometimes a planocyte enters into a cyst-state from which two planocytes are produced after a mitotic division. In this division the centrosome, though its exact origin has not yet been traced, becomes directly the blepharoplast of the newly formed daughter-planocyte (Figs. 4'.7'. 24-31).
5. When a planocyte enters into a cyst-state, the blepharoplast is absorbed into the nucleus (Figs. 4''', 5''', 32-37).
