1. The male and female gametes, the fertilization and the embryogeny of Keteleeria Davidiana BEISSNER var. formosana HAYATA are described.
2. In general the proembryogeny of Keteleeria agrees with those of the other members of Abietaceae and Pinaceae,
3. In the post-embryogeny cleavage polyembryony occurs in three different ways, namely the first by the cleavage of the primary embryo, the second by the embryonal development of the suspensor cells and the third by the embryonal development of the rosette cells.
4. In the primary embryogeny of Keteleeria the cleavage of the embryo takes place in the later stage of the formation of the secondary suspensor.
5. The chromosome number of Keteleeria is twelve in the haploid generation.
