The effect of the hydrostatic pressure on the sputtered NaCl-type InSb was studied up to 80 kbar. The cubic anvil type high pressure apparatus with the energy dispersive X-ray diffraction apparatus was used. The NaCl-type InSb was found to be stable up to 80 kbar. The pressure-density relation was discussed in connection with the several high pressure crystal forms and evaporated amorphous InSb.
