Abstract
This study focuses on the changes in airport choice behaviors after re-internationalization of Haneda airport in 2010. The original large-scale web-based questionnaire survey was conducted to capture the changes in airport choice behaviros in Tokyo Metropolitan area as well as in the local regions in Japan like Tohoku, Hokuriku and Kyusyu. The analysis indicated that Haneda's re-internationalization has a significant impact on the improvement of accessibility to the international flights both in Tokyo and local regions, and also has induced a new demand to some extent. The analysis clarified the factors to choose the airport in Tokyo metropolitan area.
