One of the methods available to toughen the plastic matrix composite is to use the metal fiber as reinforcement, which kind of composites is, called MFRP (Metal Fiber Reinforced Plastics). In this paper the tensile strength, the creep strength and the creep rupture strength of Molybdenum/Epoxy composites are studied in order to know the fundamental properties of MFRP. As a result of the experiments, the rule-of-mixture for popular use was found to be applicable to the tensile strength. Like the tensile strength, the creep strength and the creep rupture strength were also represented by the same formulae of the rule-of-mixture for a constant creep rate and a constant creep rupture time. By making further analysis of the experimental results, for the creep strength and the creep rupture strength simplified equations which are expressed by a function of the creep rate and the creep rupture time respectively were obtained. Multiple Necking of molybdenum fiber was observed in specimens with Vf=2% during creep deformation.
