Abstract
Activity coefficient is one of the most important thermodynamic properties with respect to liquid solutions. Recently, group contribution methods named ASOG and UNIFAC have been drawn attention. By using these methods, activity coefficients for multicomponent systems can be predicted on the basis of the chemical formulas of the components. This paper describes the outline of the prediction of activity coefficients by using ASOG and UNIFAC.
