Abstract

In this paper, we propose a skill evaluation and evaluation training system using MR (Mixed Reality) in order to solve the problems in quality of skill evaluation such as the mental workload of the evaluator and the dispersion of evaluation in skills competitions. In this demonstration experiment, the system’s viability was measured through three indices : mental workload, evaluation time, and evaluation accuracy, taking the evaluation process used in WorldSkills competition as an example. The results showed that the proposed system has the potential to resolve several issues regarding quality of skill evaluation at skills competitions.
