The purpose of this study is to consider the method and results of industry-academia collaboration in developing an online internship program for university students to propose solutions to architectural design problems for low- and middle-income groups in emerging countries. It is confirmed that by sharing the objectives and methods between faculty members and intermediaries, even in online-only training, students are interested in architectural issues in emerging countries and can carry out the design proposals required by local social entrepreneurs. It was also found that students have realized the improvement of various abilities and skills through this design proposal process.
