The need for measures to mitigate the effects of global warming has become an urgent issue worldwide, resulting in many countries requiring architectural designers to create buildings that are not only comfortable but also energy-efficient in operation. To this end, the study authors devised and implemented a program for teaching architectural design that incorporated the use of weather data, CFD analysis, and solar radiation simulation; this paper introduces the content and results of the program. We found that by carefully planning the flow of the seminar program and its related exercises, we could ensure that students were able to engage with the exercises smoothly.
