Abstract
Optical illusions are high-quality content that allows students to experience the act of observation. They have the potential to be applied to hands-on science and mathematics education in upper elementary school through to high school. However, due to the limitations of class time, they are not commonly practically introduced in science and mathematics classes. We reconstructed and implemented a psychological experiment for implementation in an educational setting. The proposed program can be taught in approximately 130 minutes. In this paper, we report the details of the protocol and provide an example of its implementation.
