Glass transition of polystyrene (PS) with carbon dioxide was studied under high pressures up to 15MPa over the temperature ranges from 305. 2K to 358. 2K. The glass transition temperature (Tg) was determined as a function of pressure P from a change in width of strip PS films in CO2, which depends on a cutting direction of PS films against the extruding direction. The pressure coefficient of the glass transition temperature (∂Tg/∂P) obtained in this work is in agreement with the literature values.
