This study, 1K-DHM (Tachikawa and Tanaka 2013) was taken to apply to estimate long-term river discharge in the Nam Ngum River basin which is the main Mekong tributed located in Laos. Therein, this study aims to improve 1K-DHM to better estimate long-term river discharge in Nam Ngum River where has clear dry and wet season which has clear dry and wet condition by using the 1K-DHM. the existing model does not match with the basis in this climate condition.
