Quarry and Rebirth of Cultural Assets Information

Abstract

For gathering and making rebirth of rich information from historical cultural assets, it is required to repeat long range investigations into them. This report introduces some examples of "quarries" from Japanese cultural assets, mainly manuscripts, and points out what kind of infomation have been scooped and overlooked through the history of investigations.
