This paper considers rebuilding of collective categories by triggering the replacement of label of category with revolutionary category. As a case example of this, generics in pharmaceutical industry in Japan are cited. We present a hypothesis that by replacing the old label called "zoro" in Japanese and "me-too drug" in English with the new label called generics, not only diffusion of the new category called generics has become more widespread, but by also affecting the manufacturing process of new drugs, it has rebuilt the categories of drugs and it has contributed to the evolvement of Japanese medical pharmaceutical industry.
