For D2O in the compressed liquid state, several equation of state are available, but they do not fully represent more precise experimental data in very recent years. Present report describes a newly correlated equation of state for D2O in the liquid (partly gaseous) region of up to 380°C and 1000 bar. The latest experimental data have been fully taken into account. The newly correlated equation expresses the specific volume as a function of temperature and pressure, considering convenience in industrial calculations and also in the calculation of derived functions. Equations of derived functions, namely the enthalpy, the entropy and the specific heat at constant pressure, have been obtained from the new equation of state. Properties of liquid D2O were calculated with the aid of the new equation.
