A nonlinear finite element model of total hip arthroplasty has been developed from lower limbs CT images of 54 years old male Four types of falling configurations (FC) are assigned at hip impact of 3 9BW with different loading directions and boundary conditions The results showed different fracture sites in each configuration Minimum fractures are predicted in line at the proximal canal femur in FC1 and FC2 While in FC3 and FC4, the fractures are observed at tronchanteric region
