Abstract
Bolted joints are widely used to assemble structures, and the conditions of bolted joints significantly affect the dynamic characteristics of structures. This problem causes the difficulties for designing precision machinery or earthquake countermeasures for structures. Therefore it is important to estimate the influence of the conditions of bolted joints. The aim of the present research is to clarify this influence theoretically and to develop an estimating method of dynamic characteristics of structures with bolted joints.
