By allowing elastic deformation in truss members, it is investigated whether or not shape-changable/variable geometry truss structure can be designed based on the origami models of foldable cylindrical and conical shells. Stability (or instability) and statically determinate(or indeterminate) conditions in truss structures, whose nodes consists of 6 members are examined under conditions with both rigid members and elastic members. It is exemplified that foldable/deployable truss structures can be designed when members are elastic.
