Abstract
For mixed flow fans installed in the outdoor unit of a room air conditioner, high efficiency, low noise and high static pressure are important factors that are related to low energy consumption, silence and high heating capacity. In this study, focusing on the performance that achieves high static pressure and low noise and high efficiency, the influence of various factors of mixed flow fans were investigated. Detailed experiments were carried out to understand the relationship between the performance and impeller design, camber line, shape of leading and trailing edge, the hub and the number of blades.
