Effect of dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperature on the drying time of spherical porous material in high temperature gas flow was investigated experimentally. Mass and center of material temperature changes of material during drying were measured with a test apparatus, in which dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperature could be controlled. Spherical red brick was used as the sample porous material (15mm in diameter, 0.235 kg-water/kg-dry at initial moisture content). From these results, it was shown that the moisture content of each condition achieved the same reading at same elapsed time for the condition of high dry-bulb temperature"-"regardless of steam condensation at early stage of drying. Because, critical moisture content was lower, as wet-bulb temperature was increased, and the differences of drying rate during constant rate period were smaller.
