Abstract

This is the study to understand the pulverizing of soil by using the planetary type rotation machine. We are focusing on the process of soil pulverizing in a container by pulverizing rod. Akadama uses for the experiments. This is known as a common soil in Japan for agriculture. We measure the compressive strength and the water content in a soil to understand the physical property of soil. The pulverizing in a container is visualized. The results show that the rod moves in a container continuously during the planetary movement. The soil pulverized when the rod impacts from the longitudinal direction of rod.
