This paper presents the experiment of the chaotic oscillations of circular annualr plate. The circular annular plate are clamped at internal boundary and free along the outer circumference. The chaotic responces of the circular annular plate are confirmed by the Fourier spectrum, the Poincare projection onto phase plane and the maximum Lyapunov cxponent. Following conclusion was obtained. The chaotic responses of the plate are generated from the sub-harmonic resonance both of 1/2 and 1/3 orders and the ultra-sub-harmonic resonance 2/3 order. The maximum Lyapunov exponent are changed by the existence of snap through.
