Abstract
The hemodynamics of heart is of great importance in determining the condition of the-whole human circulatory system. A three dimensional computational model is developed based on the ultrasound images of heart, which can be applied to the simulation of the unsteady blood flow in human left ventricle during a cardiac cycle. This model is not only capable of enhancing our understanding of the physiology of the heart, but also can be utilized to analyze the influence of heart pathologies on the changes in heart hemodynamics. Two groups of simulated results for normal and pathological left ventricles, respectively, are presented and compared in this paper.
