Peltier Device is an endothermic element which is used in various applications, such as small refrigerators or CPU coolers. And recently, because the device has fast response characteristic among thermal devices, it is considered as a suitable tool for the transmission of thermal sensation. Considering about the transmission of the sensation, it is thought to be important to control the device temperature with robustness. However, several elements such as joule heat or heat flow which comes from an outside object disturb the temperature control. This paper proposes a temperature control system based on a heat disturbance observer, which uses the structure of disturbance observer. By the proposed method, the system becomes robust to these disturbances, and the temperature is controlled accurately. The validity of the proposition is confirmed by experimental results.
