Abstract
The selective frequency analysis method created in this paper is suggested to design an image filter in the holographic data storage system with the Nyquist aperture. The image filter has been designed with different methods to improve the bit error rate. In previous image restoration methods for HDS, an iteration time and a highly precise point spread function were necessary. In this paper, we analysis the frequency region that affects the BER performance and simulate the filter created by the method. Then we compare the conventional restoration filter and the designed filter. The result would contribute to the holographic data image filter design.
