Abstract
In this study, we proposed the creation of surface modification layer by ultra-fine particle peening process in order to achieve the development of high strength aluminum alloy. Therefore, we aim to clarify the effect of impact energy and surface modification by ultra-fine particle peening process. The analysis of collision energy was used for finite element analysis software LS-DYNA. Analysis conditions were set was particle of high speed steel and work of aluminum alloy. Results of the analysis, in the case with a constant amount of projection, the impact energy increases as the material is a small projection of the particle size was revealed
