Traffic failures such as traffic jams occur at times of disasters and at events, leading to delay in evacuation, secondary disasters such as accidents, and congestion at different points. Therefore, it is important to grasp the traffic condition as soon as possible, identify the factors and take countermeasures. In this research, we propose a method to detect traffic failure using probe data of a certain area without restricting OD pair, and a method to classify abnormal behaviors due to traffic failure.
