Abstract

The micromixer we are developing generates the swirling flow inside the main chamber by vibrating the silicone wall between the main chamber and the driving chamber with pressure vibration. In this research, the proposed mixer is enlarged to be able to stir the spheroid and the reagent in the main chamber. The mixer developed in the previous research is too small to insert the spheroid. However, the enlargement of the mixer keeping with the similar design in geometry causes a decrease in the stirring flow. The mixer was redesigned by focusing on the aspect ratio of the silicone wall in order to solve the problem. As a result, it was confirmed that mixing was possible in the main chamber that can be inserted spheroids inside it.
