In recent years, the electrical devices have become increasingly diversified and varied, with their specialized interfaces with solid and fixed shape and number of inputs. As a result, the usabilities of the interfaces vary depends on person that is difficult to optimize it for the person, even if the person is desired. Therefore, flexible and shape memorizable interfaces based on jamming transitions have the potential to adapt to each individual user for optimal usability. In this study, we propose a Universal Jamming Interface (UJI) based on a jamming transition sensor. The proposed UJI uses a conductive powder for tactile sensing. The piezoelectric properties of the UJI were evaluated under concentrated load and sensor stretching.
