Abstract

Conventional AfC has a one-to-one relationship between stimulus and emotion; it is unclear how a stimulus eliciting a different emotion acts on one emotion. In this paper, we measured changes in emotion by acquiring emotions in real-time when fear was induced by visual stimuli using a head-mounted display and calmness was induced by tactile stimuli using soft actuators. ATHQ conducted on the subjects after the subject experiment confirmed that the tactile stimuli weakened the fearful emotion in the virtual space images. In addition, the heart rate obtained from the wearable biometric sensor changed during the operation of the actuator that provided tactile stimulation, confirming the change in emotion.
