We assume the rectangular plate that possesses orthotropy in in-plane direction and inhomogeneity in out-of-plane direction. The rectangular plate has symmetric inhomogeneous material properties with respect to middle surface and initial deflection. Assuming that the plate is subjected to nonuniform heat supply from boundary surfaces, we derived three-dimensional temperature change in a steady state. Thereafter, we derived equilibrium equations in the plate with initial deflection using variational principle. We carry out numerical calculation and discuss the effects of orthotropy and inhomogeneity in material properties and initial deflection upon critical buckling temperature change and post-buckling behavior.
