In the first half of this paper the author deals with the content of the previous paper published by A.V. Tobolsky and K. Murakami how to obtain the maximum relaxation time τm in a linear amorphous polymer by a new method named Procedure X, and in the latter half section, it is described that the mathematical relationship among τm, temperature, molecular weight and characteristic temperature (Tg, Ts and Td) would apparently exist, of which a paper has also been published by A.V. Tobolsky and K. Murakami.
With the experimental results obtained by the author with more details than in another paper, the existance of this relationship was proved and the values of log A and log B were found.
