Functions of new light sensors, BLUF and AnPixJ based on their structure

Abstract

We studied the reaction mechanisms of a blue light sensor BLUF and a gree-red sensor AnPixJ. Bluf showed 2-3 types of intermediate states at low temperature. The mechanism of reaction was further studied by site-directed mutagenesis and molecular dynamics simulation. We also identified a new gree-red sensor AnPixJ and detected 2 intermedieates spieces in both the forward and backward reaction.
