There were many festivals in Japan traditionally. They rooted in the area as Japanese culture and has been succeeded.
However, it is thought that they lose sight of the purpose of the original festival and the current festival changes.
This study checked the consciousness of a main constituent person, the executant of the modern festival and analyzed the merits and demerits of the festival and studied a remedy and the way of the future festival.
This study divided a festival into three types and studied.2 sightseeing urban area festivals,local inhabitants festival.
