Abstract

Basis weight and Moisture control systems have shown us remarkable progress in both sensors and control technology today. However, these advanced sensors still require a lot of maintenance activities. Specially, static and dynamic calibration are most time consuming works to maintain the sensors with required accuracy.
A common and earnest desire of instrumentation and control engineers is to eliminate the troublesome calibration works.
The panel discussion on the topics will attempt to seek the expected goal of the subject, if it is an impossible dream or not.
