抄録

Ammonium Zirconium Carbonate (AZC) is well known as an effective insolubilizer for paper coating with its fast curing and easy handling. Its basic reactivity of AZC with functional groups such as carboxyl and hydroxyl group develops wider application in papermaking and coating. We would like to review mechanism and applications of AZC in paper industry in this paper.
