Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to deliberate on Sosen Kidu and Kaichiro Usui who had made tea-room against the modern tendency with western technique. They had made tea-room in different effect from early modern architecture with new technique. The difference of the style between Kidu and Usui is thought as cause for the difference of the date. And their activity could be put on the one tide from early modern to new modern world.
