The development of low-energy and comfortable wooden houses in Japan

Abstract

The low energy houses that were built first in Hokkaido, have had important effect to wooden houses in Japan. But, the energy consumption in Japanese houses is increasing now and the people do not feel comfortable in the houses. Looking over clearly the process of the development of technique in low energy houses, I study the plan for accelerating the improvement of Japanese wooden houses.
